The program offers a wonderful blend of tradition, music, and handson learning that feels welcoming to visitors of all ages and backgrounds. Wearing the hanbok at the beginning created an immersive atmosphere, and the instructors were friendly, patient, and clearly passionate about sharing Korean culture. Learning to play Arirang on the Gayageum was surprisingly accessible, even for complete beginners, and the lesson felt meaningful and very fun. The overall experience felt complete and well organized. The pacing was comfortable, and the multilingual support made everything easy to follow. There was plenty of time to practice and take photos. We were even given a certificate. This activity is a great choice for families, couples, or solo participants seeking an authentic cultural experience.Highly recommended for anyone wanting to go beyond typical sightseeing and truly experience Korean heritage.

I absolutely loved this class! It’s perfect even if you’ve never played any musical instrument before. The teacher Jang is very kind, always smiling, and explains everything clearly so that anyone can follow easily. Even though it was a group lesson, she still gave individual attention to each participant. Before the class started, we changed into hanboks, which made the whole experience even more special. It really helped us get immersed in the atmosphere of Korea and the traditional instrument. The lesson was such a beautiful mix of relaxation and inspiration — I felt like both a musician and a graceful lady from an ancient dynasty 😊😊😊 After the class, the teacher took gorgeous photos of each participant and even printed them out for us. I was absolutely delighted!👍🏻 The studio is located right in the heart of Seoul, near Gyeongbokgung Palace, so the view from the classroom was also stunning.

とても充実した素敵な時間でした。初心の方でも楽器が弾ける音楽好きな方でも大満足の内容だと思います。また英語でわかりやすく説明してくださるので、どこの国の方でも大丈夫です。韓国ドラマでよく耳にする伽耶琴の音色を、プロのゆみん先生の手本演奏と自分の演奏から、ダイレクトに味わうことができ、心が震えました。私は趣味で日本の箏（こと）を演奏ししており、早くコツをつかめたようですが、基本奏法やアリラン、BTSの曲など、わかりやすい楽譜を１０曲ぐらい用意してくださっていたので、時間いっぱい伽耶琴を堪能できました。また好みの韓服を着せていただき、綺麗な部屋で写真や動画も撮ってくださり、データでいただきました。韓国文化を五感で堪能できた旅のいい思い出となりました。

such a wonderful experience! the teacher was very patient and encouraging as I learned the basics of gayageum. I also really enjoyed learning about the history of the instrument and the gaya kingdom. the hanbok was also super beautiful and I had a lot of fun! I'm learning korean and the teacher practiced with me and was very patient with my language limitations and translated into English whenever necessary. overall it was awesome and I really recommend it!

I had so much fun today with Yumin-nim during my class! The studio and hanbok are beautiful and you get to learn about the history of gayageum from a true expert. It’s such a unique experience and you get such great pictures and videos taken by Yumin for the memories - I’d highly recommend to anyone for a special experience when you’re in Seoul! It was a perfect addition to my solo trip :)

Isang napakagandang karanasan, kahit na walang kaalaman sa Gayageum, matututunan mo pa rin ang isang buong kanta ng Arirang sa klase. Ang guro ay masigasig na nagtuturo ng mga pangunahing teknik sa pagtugtog. Bukod pa rito, maaari ka ring magsuot ng magandang Hanbok, at tutulungan ka ng guro na kumuha ng maraming magagandang larawan at irekord ang proseso ng pagtugtog. Sa huli, magkakaroon din ng certificate of completion, na ginagawang isang di malilimutang karanasan. Pagkatapos, maaari ka pang maglibot sa Bukchon.

It was a very nice activity. It doesn’t matter if you know or don’t know anything about the instrument Yoomin will help you. She is very experienced. Also you can dress up in a Hanbok

The teacher was incredibly kind and attentive, she explained everything in English, guided each of us with patience, and created a safe space for beginners. She even prepared tea for us, which made the whole lesson feel even more personal and heartfelt. Wearing Hanbok during the class made the experience very special, it felt like stepping into another time. The studio is located in a charming traditional area with historic buildings and small artisan shops, which added so much to the mood of the lesson. If you want to learn the Gayageum in an authentic and gentle environment, I can only recommend this class. It’s a meaningful cultural experience that stays with you long after you leave.

I absolutely loved this class! If you've ever heard Korean traditional music and felt mesmerized by its sound, this is something you should definitely try. Experiencing it firsthand was truly special. One of the things I appreciated most was the hanboks. They weren’t the “fantasy” ones you usually rent at palace gates, but the styles Koreans actually wear, which made everything feel much more authentic. I went in a little nervous, but the class was very beginner-friendly and the teacher always checked on us. The moment you walk in and see the beautiful hanok view, you immediately feel excited, as it creates the perfect atmosphere for learning traditional music. I also loved that we got to try other songs, including pieces from K-pop like Demon Hunters and BTS. To top it all off, you receive a certificate and a photo from the mini photoshoot. I truly recommend this class to anyone curious about Korean culture. It’s unforgettable!
