Easy to redeem and totally worth the pass. Plan your trips wisely and you will save a lot money. You can even use it to ride on the ferry to Miyajima island in Hiroshima. Use JR bus in many places. Just worth it

it was so easy to obtain the JR pass thru our exchange order, we exchanged it to our Jr Pass at saga city in fukouka, and used it at huis ten bosch, up to arashiyama zoo in hokkaido, the limited express train like Yufuin no mori is so underrated too

The JR while Japan was value for money. I used the pass on the 2nd day and finished on the last but one day, therefore I could use the pass travelling from Kagoshima to Hokkaido and visited many tourist spots. I travelled in November last year, though the weather was not too cold. I could easily book the seâts in advance. I enjoyed the delicious seafood in Hakodate very much. Overall, the pass was excellent and convenient, as long as the hotels should be very cose to the train station.

a must when you are planning to cross osaka-nara-kyoto-nagoya-tokyo. It is more convenient bec u will not keep on loading your EC card. And sulit pa rin for a shinkansen experience talaga. super bilis ng osaka to tokyo.

We used the jr pass to travel around japan from narita, tokyo, aomori, sapporo then osaka and kyoto. If you are traveling around tokyo and kyoto area only, I would not recommend buying it. if you are traveling to multiple cities like us, then the pass saves you money.

I bought my J Rail pass before the government of Japan raise the price. it was well worth the money. I went to a few cities in Japan with the J Rail pass. The package mailed to my address in my country. When you get the paper in the mail and have to exchange it for the J Rail pass, make sure to bring your ID to pick up your pass at the train station. also, if you loose your pass, you can’t get a refund or a replacement pass. you have to pay out of pocket again. so make sure to guard it with your life.

We bought this way back the price hike for JR Rail Pass and we are glad that we got it in it’s original price (before hike) we were able to visit a lot of places (Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Fuji, Tokyo) all because of the unli JR Pass!

Price increased in Oct 2023 so it's not super value unless you really travel around different regions a lot, which we did to maximize the cost. Went from Tokyo to Nagano to Yamagata to Aomori to Sapporo to Hakodate and back to Tokyo, so I think we got our money's worth 😀
