I love the quaint look of an English Inn. Staff is the best going out of their way to make sure your stay is enjoyable

Staff, free parking and location was great, enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

A really nice hotel. Well situated for Victoria and a very helpful front desk. I only wish we were staying longer!

Great location next to Beacon Hill Park with an outstanding pub and restaurant. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond.

Nice …. Basic but it is all we need. Need Ac in rooms but as an old building I doubt that could easily be installed. Pre reflecting it. Very affordable. Staid many times. No elevator. If you need help with your luggage you need to ask. Try boooking lower level. Very clean and comfortable. That is what matters for us

Hotel is nice and close to downtown at walking distance with a free parking Room was small with the sink in the bedroom (not a good idea) Restaurant is good and staff is nice Breakfast is not included and expensive

Highly recommend the James Bay Inn. Great location and easy walking distance to the downtown harbour and shopping and to Beacon Hill Park. Staff is super friendly! Just need to be able to climb stairs as the 1911 Inn has not elevator.

The building was old but has a lots of characters. The area is very quiet. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Even though the inn doesn't have AC or elevator, we managed all right without it. The classic queen room was very clean with all amenties provided. The mini fridge was a plus. Easy walking distance to lots of attractions, transits and restaurants. Will stay again in the future.

I love staying at the James Bay Inn. The exterior of this historic building is what originally caught my eye. Step inside to early 1900’s furniture throughout the building. The staff is wonderful - helpful and friendly, and that’s including the restaurant and pub folks. There are two balconies where you can sit enjoying a morning cup of tea or coffee, or evening beverage. A variety of room choices too. We like the location as it’s in a quiet neighborhood and walkable to the water (a few blocks down the street) and a 10-15 minute walk to the Inner Harbour area. Highly recommend James Bay Inn.
