The Spa in the bathroom is not working. Needs to be maintained. The sink in the bathroom was leaking. Whilst the staff left the clean towels in the bathroom they didn’t remove the used face towels. Just a suggestion to add cooked food the breakfast menu eg eggs, bacon, baked beans, sausages

My third stay: The beautiful location, relaxed atmosphere & genuine hospitality keeps bringing me back! Upgrading to the BEACHFRONT ROOM after previously staying in Lagoon & Garden Rooms, was well worth the extra cost & a must from now on! Visiting in mid-July offered a great balance of cooler temperatures & sunshine. Perfect for exploring, relaxing & even picking up a little colour! The CULTURAL SHOW & KAI Evening was fabulous! Watching the All Blacks & Warriors games was a bonus & Happy Hour is always a treat! DINING was a hit & miss this visit. Language barrier was an issue - having to clarify our orders. Knowing there are a smorgasbord of options is good. Special mention to ROSA at the SPA who gave me two amazing relaxation massages. My friends got facials which they enjoyed and the Spa packs are well worth it! The STAFF's manaaki is second to none! Everyone was warm & welcoming. Had to wait 30 min to get cash refund on check out & have noticed unexpected card charges despite trying to pay as I go, so will get those clarified. KOKA LAGOON CRUISES is always a fun & a great way to embrace island life. HIGHLAND PARADISE Cultural Village experience, Kai & an enjoyable performance by the talented Rangatahi Academy! The PROGRESSIVE DINNER was a standout being welcomed into local whare, authentic home-cooked kai & whanaungatanga with local families & others. Despite a few minor issues, we had a wonderful stay! I'm already planning visit number four!!! Meitaki Maata!!!

Resort is great. Just know that while they list having 24 hour airport shuttle, this is blatantly false advertising. They have no shuttle. They will be happy to direct you to a cab for $25 per person, oh also they only take cash. If you didn’t bring NZE cash, there is an ATM handy, but expect a long line for the one ATM. After a long travel day, delayed flight, 90 minutes to get through customs, this unexpected extra $100 for the 4 of us and extra wait for the ATM was very frustrating. Also plan on $25 per person back to the airport, and yes it is under 10 min drive. The resort itself was great, the free breakfast is very basic, cereal, toast, fruit, mini muffins. Other options are available for purchase. Overall, can be a great experience, just go into it knowing what to expect getting there from the airport.

Rooms are good and staff very friendly and helpful. Reception staff more business like but then they are busy . Nothing of note to be negative about . The resort was great with extra activities to go to during the day. The men that sang and played outside at night were very good. Visitors just need to be patient as not everything Food was very tasty and appealing.

Great family friendly resort

The property has a lot of rooms plus private accommodation that is part of the resort too. This results in the restaurant being overrun in the morning for breakfast. The pool is also really small considering the amount of people that can stay there. The grounds and rooms are really nice- clean and comfy, but the walls are not the most soundproof and with the amount of people coming and going we were woken up at least briefly each morning or night. Not the place for us, had more of a Bali/ Benidorm vibe. But lots of people go back- so it obviously appeals to some!

Fun for large families especially those who love the ocean. Rarotonga Brewery is just across the road. Great place and crowd to watch the All Blacks beat France 34-32!

We had a nice family vacation with three of our four adult children and their families for our 40th anniversary. Some friends from Aotearoa also had a good sized group at the Edgewater. It’s very family friendly with an excellent location. We made friends with some Samoans. Just a fun vacation in Rarotonga.
