This a very basic hotel.

Honestly an amazing stay. The bed was exceptional, room clean and bathroom quite clean. Exceptional in it is exactly what we wanted and needed. 5* not because it’s a ritz but because it’s clean, very comfortable and perfect location for cruise port.

Excellent value. Dinner menu limited but sufficient and reasonably priced.

We had a terrible experience dealing with the manager of the property. Perhaps the worst manager we ever dealt with. He had problems logging into his system, but all he could tell us was "I cant help you". We had issues with check ins, the room smelled smoky and air ventilation system was broken. We informed the manager and he responded "oh all the rooms have this problem. The AC system in all rooms are broken. All rooms are booked tonight and we cannot switch you to another room. There is nothing I can do." However we asked another staff, who was doubling as the bartender, and he was extremely helpful, promptly got us switched to another room, helped with every questions and concerns we had. I understand that the manager could not log into the system, yet he could have easily asked the other staff to help us. He could have delegated. He could have 'managed' his staff better. Yet he not only lied about the AC issue, but absolutely did nothing to help. I gave them 3 stars all due to the other long-time front desk/bartender, otherwise would've been 1 star due to the absolute incompetence of the manager.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location.

We stayed at two Premier Inns in England, one in Southampton and the other in London Waterloo, both were not high end posh hotels but were reasonably priced , very well maintained and very conveniently located. Highly recommend them and they seemed to be located all over the UK.

Great for the money.

This hotel is old and unfortunately our room on the 3rd floor smelled of mould. Luckily the interior of the room was liveable but the hallway was horrible. You had to cover your nose to go in and out of the room. The breakfast was good but I would not stay again. There are better rooms around the same price in the area that I would stay at over this place. It’s very basic. The rooms are tiny and depressing. We had travelled a long way and were just happy to have a bed.

Very kind and courteous staff and a great manager.

Thermostat didn’t work, soap/shampoo/conditioner missing, blood on the linens, wasn’t initially given the room I reserved, nice am staff and breakfast, quiet
