Our stay at the Muir was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is absolutely beautiful—stylish, sophisticated, and luxurious without ever feeling over the top. It captures the perfect maritime elegance while remaining warm and inviting. The room was cozy perfection, the state-of-the-art gym was one of the best we’ve experienced, and the spa was wonderful. We especially loved the salt room and saunas, and the level of service throughout the spa was truly beyond expectations (we were asked how was the temperature mid session and were brought ice water)! We enjoyed dinner and two breakfasts at the restaurant, and every meal was phenomenal. Every detail, from the design to the hospitality, felt thoughtful and effortless. The Muir is the kind of place that makes you look forward to your next visit before you’ve even checked out.

Property is really beautiful and staff were professional and attentive.

Hotel is well situated at the harbour front, with numerous restaurants nearby. It’s within walking distance to downtown Halifax and the citadel. The staff members are courteous and helpful. The rooms are well appointed.

Beautiful property and fabulous staff! Excellent location. Dinner at Drift was delicious, and BSK was a wonderful surprise! Would highly recommend!

This was a last minute decision and it was absolutely amazing the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the room was beautiful.

Quality room

Room was exceptional and so clean. Loved the Aesop touches. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was good but not included in price of room stay. Amenities amazing but lacked a communal shower in spa area near steam room and sauna which isn’t great for hygiene. The speakeasy bar is a great touch! Delicious and well made cocktails.
