It was SO hot when we were in the Netherlands, so our large, cool room with a nice big bathroom was just what we needed after driving up from Amsterdam! The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was also great to be able to go downstairs and have such a delicious dinner. The breakfast was pretty good also. It's a good location if you want a bigger hotel experience while exploring this part of the country. The parking building is slightly confusing, so make sure you get good instructions for getting back to your car, and if you have a lot of luggage unload it at the hotel's front desk before you park. It's a nearby building but it's just easier that way.

The breakfast is amazing

The breakfast was fresh and excellent!

Staff was great, breakfast was very nice and the location was excellent.

Great place to stay to explore Leeuwarden and surrounding area. Loved the restaurant and bar atmosphere and all the old telephone equipment.

Highly recommend

The building is in an old post office and bank. Very historic.
