Really great location next to Nishiki market. Very convenient to get around from there. The beds were comfortable, the air-conditioning worked very well as well. And the showers were really great. A very good place to stay.

Very conveniently located near the to Nishiki Market and great places to eat, Gion, Pontocho Alley, subway, just brilliant. Washing machine and drier facilities in the room were also great. The room was small for 3 people but perfectly appointed with all amenities you'd expect, clean and modern, well decorated. The staff were very helpful and filled in the paperwork for us to have our suitcases transferred to the next city, plus provided advice.

From the moment we arrived, we could already tell how exceptional the service was. The staff made us feel so welcome, greeting us with "Happy Honeymoon" and even surprising us with a thoughtful gift. They took the time to show us and explain everything in our room, including the laundry facilities, which ended up being incredibly useful during our stay. This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. Every time we had a question, the staff were always happy to help, offering great recommendations on places to visit, where to eat, and even which trains to take. Their kindness and hospitality truly made our trip even more memorable. The hotel itself is spotless, comfortable, and spacious compared to other hotels we've stayed at in Japan. We also really appreciated their eco-friendly approach—it never compromised our comfort and was thoughtfully implemented. One thing that really stood out was how they went above and beyond to help us retrieve an item we accidentally left at our previous accommodation. They communicated with them on our behalf, making the whole process seamless and stress-free. Throughout our stay, we felt genuinely cared for. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto. If we return, there's no question we'll stay here again. Thank you so much to the entire team for making our honeymoon so special!

The staff was super friendly and spoke English. Check in/out was quick. The room had a washing machine and a shower room that doubled as dryer. They had an iron we could use and even let us borrow their umbrellas for the whole day free of charge. Located in the heart of the Nishiki Market. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location

Small hotel, but the room was first rate, and the location near Nishiki Market makes it a great choice for Kyoto visitors.

This hotel was fantastic. The staff was very attentive and friendly, walked us to our room and showed us how to use everything. Washing machine in room to refresh mid-trip was a huge bonus. Location is excellent, even on rainy days the immediate area is very well covered. Convenient to bus or train, we really loved our stay here and would come back!

The staff were the nicest our entire stay in Japan, they went out of their way to help us and were always very kind and professional. Would highly recommend to any travellers wanting to stay in Kyoto.

No extra amenities like pool, breakfast, gym. But excellent staff and location. Modern with washer in the room. Very clean Stayed 2 nights with a family of 3 adults
