Laid back, luxurious feel to this hotel, gorgeous pool area, in tranquil grounds with birdsong, scent of flowers, and unassuming, carefully attentive staff. Delicious unhurried buffet breakfast. 15 minutes by minibus into central Florence. Best of both worlds. We spent 4 nights here.

No 24 hour shuttle to airport as advertised (it cost about 100-200 euros to get your own transportation). The hotel Charges 2.5 Euros each way for their shuttle to and from the city. The shuttle drops you off about a mile from the actual city center no where near anything and it has other stops on the way, it also has limited pick up and drop offs. It is cheaper and more convenient to take the city bus. The air conditioning was blowing hot air on the lowest setting the first 2 nights, the best the hotel offered was a fan, no one came to inspect or fix after 2 calls. It was well over 80F in the room, it was much hotter inside than outside. this force us to open windows to cool the place down, then we where eaten alive by bugs because they don't have screens. overall not impressed. The menu also only included extremely fancy dishes that seemed overpriced and didn't offer much for the common person. the hotel wasn't near anything so you really have to plan ahead for food so you don't have to pay 40 euros each way for a taxi.

We have always enjoyed our stay here. It is very comfortable. There are lots of areas to sit and relax, have a drink, read a book, have a chat, have a swim or go for a walk around the beautiful garden. The shuttle bus into Florence is very handy.

Everything is perfect

This was one of the most amazing g places I have stayed in Europe. So authentic to what it was back when it was built. The antiques the artwork. The attention to detail. The gardens. The staff are amazing. It was a nice break from the crazed city center areas. I was able to enjoy space and calm. I recommend it 100+%

Very big nice room, pretty grounds, plenty of parking!! there’s a shuttle in to the city which is quite practical. Pool was under renovation while we were there, breakfast was good, staff is super polite and helpful. Honestly a much better experience than other hotels we stayed at in the region for a more expensive price. Pleasantly surprised with our experience here

Hotel was lovely, it was grand and beautiful like being in a bridgerton episode. Clean and tidy Bring an adapter as plug sockets are limited
