We really enjoyed our anniversary trip! I would like to start by recognizing the staff at Oleo. They were the reason this trip was so phenomenal. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making our stay enjoyable. Overall, the hotel itself was very good. The only area that caused some frustration was the inconsistency in the dining schedules. Room service was advertised as available 24/7, but that was not actually the case during our stay. Additionally, while there are four restaurants on the property, they are not all open every day, which made it more difficult to plan meals around our excursions. For example, we booked a day trip to Chichén Itzá through the hotel, with pickup scheduled for 7:00 a.m. Unfortunately, the breakfast buffet did not open until 7:00 a.m., and room service was also unavailable before that time, despite being advertised differently. As a result, we were unable to have breakfast before leaving for our excursion. The staff, once again, came for the rescue and packed us a sandwich. That said, these were minor inconveniences in an otherwise fantastic experience. The exceptional staff truly made our stay memorable, and we are very grateful for their hospitality. Thank you for helping make our anniversary trip so special. We would absolutely return in the future.

Amazing!

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Oleo Cancun. The property looks nothing like the polished, upscale resort shown in the photos. In reality, it feels outdated, poorly maintained, and far from the luxury experience being advertised. The room was in rough condition, and the bathroom was especially problematic. The shower did not drain properly, causing water to collect and sit for an extended period. Basic maintenance issues like this should not exist at a resort charging these rates. Cleanliness and upkeep throughout the property were also concerning. The elevators had an unpleasant odor, and even the air-conditioning vents in the lobby were visibly dusty. These details may seem minor, but they contribute to an overall impression that the property is not being maintained to the standard expected of a beachfront resort. Service was also inconsistent. One evening I called to request towels and toilet paper, and despite waiting, the items never arrived. Having to chase down basic necessities during a vacation is unacceptable. The food was mediocre at best and certainly not a highlight of the stay. While the staff members themselves were friendly, polite, and seemed to do their best, they cannot make up for the overall condition of the property. The biggest issue is that the resort is misleadingly marketed. The photos online create expectations that the actual property simply does not meet. I do not recommend this property.

This property was perfect for the type of trip we wanted. Very chill. We ate, drank, read by the pool while listening to the ocean, and went to bed early. Three nights was the perfect amount of time if you aren’t planning to leave the property.

Bar and location were perfect. The food needs some help. Room was nice as well.

La recepción en el Check-In fue muy buena con excelente bebida de bienvenida - aunque deberían de mejorar el aire acondicionado en la recepcion solamente - buena atención y amabilidad. El cuarto en el 8.º piso es espectacular, con amplio balcón y vista al mar Caribe al este y vista hacia la laguna al oeste, con un espectacular champán de bienvenida. El hotel es algo viejo, pero bien funcional. Lo mejor para mí es La Playa espectacular, excelente restaurante mediterráneo, la ubicación es muy, muy buena con acceso rápido a demás atracciones. En mi caso, la habitación está más orientada al este y no se puede ver el ocaso en la tarde. Pero para quienes quieren ver el ocaso, solo tienen que cruzar la calle y caminar al restaurante de enfrente, y tomar alguna bebida y contemplar un atardecer espectacular. La alberca del hotel es chica y algo limitada, pero el plus de este hotel es la espectacular playa. Definitivamente lo recomiendo.

The stand out was the food, would go back for it. A lot of variety everyday. The staff were helpful but not all of them. Cleanliness was ok. The building though was a bit old including the rooms. Some mold on the shower areas but eh as expected.

Instalaciones antiguas que no les brindan mucho mantenimiento , la mitad del personal atento la otra mitad no (en general) , descuidado se percibe el hotel pero tiene un muy buen punto en ubicación alejado descuidado la zona hotelera principal
