The Shilla Jeju is a truly excellent hotel, but what impressed me most wasn’t the design or the facilities it was the staff.
Every single team member was outstanding. Polite, attentive, and genuinely warm in a way that went well beyond what I’d expect. I travel often to Europe and the US and have stayed at many hotels along the way, but honestly the service here was better than anything I’ve experienced at hotels in either region.
The management really should look after these people they absolutely deserve a raise. Hotels like this are only as good as the team running them, and Shilla Jeju has clearly got something special. Would happily return.
