We had a very nice stay herr. Love the vibe in amenity area, very artistic. The breakfast is fresh and super healthy. Location is very close to subway and quiet. Highly recommend if you travel to Kyoto.

Nice sized room compared to a lot of other hotels! Very cool lobby, lots of art and super clean. Close to a family mart and the train station. Would stay here again!

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, the facilities were very clean and a nice, artistic setting throughout the hotel. Breakfast was incredible and more than adequate each day, with the common areas being comfortable and inviting. Laundry facilities were small but adequate for the size of the hotel. I would highly recommend staying here if in the area, with a quiet location and proximity to everything you would need.

A wonderful retro modernist hotel, conveniently located for public transport to Kyoto many attractions. Staff are super helpful and breakfast is fantastic

The lobby of the hotel is very artsy. Basic amenities are available such as toothbrush and toothpaste, razor, cotton swabs, pajama shirt, and my favorite, bath salt with various aromatic oils. They also give you two water bottles daily which ia nice. The sink of our bathroom didn't drain well but they fixed it right away. The shower head doean't want to stay in place. Facility does seem old and the heater was dusty. But overall it was comfortable staying here. About 6min walk to Karasuma line and 15min walk to Kyoto Station which wasn't bad. You can even walk to Fushimi Inari area (~25min walk) if you feel like. There is a small bar right across of the hotel and a ramen shop that seems to have a line most of the time. A cute bakery on the corner, Lawson is right there too. A tattoo friendly sento is 1 min walk as well, where all the locals seem to go. You can get the ticket to the bathhouse at the lobby and they will also lend you the bath kit as well.

Very cool hotel, perfectly functional and clean, good amenities even though I didn’t make the most of them. Comfortable 10-12 min walk from the main station.
