Maison Orphée was an exceptional place to stay in Paris. Centrally located in walking distance from many tourist locations, the hotel is on a quiet street with several small neighborhood restaurants and shops. I stayed in a balcony room on the 5th floor, which had a gorgeous view of the street below and a spacious, extremely clean room with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. The room also had an updated bathroom, mini fridge, small safe, a place to hang clothes, and a small sitting area with two cozy chairs. The breakfast had a large, high quality selection of delicious foods and drinks. The luggage hold was extremely helpful due to arriving to the city well before check-in and they even moved the bags up to the room when it was ready. The best part about the whole stay was the staff- every single person was helpful and seemed genuinely kind and caring toward their guests. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. On arrival, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, with mould in the shower, and basic items such as towels and toiletries were missing. The room temperature also could not be adjusted below 24.5°C, making it uncomfortable. These issues were reported but never resolved, and we had to repeatedly call for basic necessities.The most concerning issue occurred at our 3:00 a.m. checkout. We were explicitly told by front desk staff that someone would be present, but the desk was unattended, lights were off, and our invoice with personal information was left on the counter. We later discovered the staff member asleep in the lobby. When our taxi arrived, the front door was locked and it took several minutes to wake the staff to let us out, nearly causing us to miss our taxi.We contacted management before leaving a review and received no response. Paris has many excellent hotels, but this is not one of them. Based on our experience, we would not recommend staying here.

Clean and modern updated rooms. Great location near train stations, restaurants, shopping, and area attractions. Basement has a nice little business center for quiet workspace. There is also a small workout room with a rower, weights and a stationary bike. It is a nice amenity, although the bike was broken. I would suggest the management check the equipment for safety.

Clean and bright modern room. Staff were friendly, they were within reach if we ever needed anything. Rooms came with coffee machine, fridge, and safe. Wished that it came with an iron and hairdryer too, but understood that most european hotels dont come with these unless you ask. Loved the location, walking distance to Auber and Madeleine stations with great food options and shopping all around.
