Great staff. Getting to the shuttle pickup location at first was difficult with no special instructions. So if you are at first coming off the ferry, keep to the right and follow the sidewalk around to the cul de sac behind the Tolhuis restaurant. There you can be picked up when you call the hotel. We also used WhatsApp but it did take longer. Our room had an issue of no power in the night, so we were moved in the dark to another room. After we confirmed it was the same class of room with a coffee maker, we were very happy as the room was very quiet and a good size. Our first room had a bathtub but we were okay with not having one as it was a nice quiet room and the staff were very understanding and professional. We were given a credit and complimentary bar drinks for our inconvenience. Would recommend this hotel as we could reach Amsterdam Central Station in about 12 minutes from the hotel including ferry crossing time. The included breakfast was very good with Amsterdam cheese and fresh croissants were enjoyed along with various coffees, scrambled eggs and sausage each morning. Almond, oat and soy milk were offered as well. A great burger n shake joint just down the road was amazing for a quick dinner. A 2 minute walk to a grocery store for anything else was convenient too. Great value for our stay! Thank you NS Amsterdam Noord for your hospitality.

Clean modern room with king bed. Location was quiet and the free shuttle to the ferry was very convenient. We would recommend this hotel to tourists as getting into the city and the main train/subway station was very easy. Loved the free drinks if you decided you didn't need your room cleaned every day. Didn't have the breakfast as it was too expensive.

The room included a safe, refrigerator, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and even an iron/ironing board. They have a shuttle that takes you to and from the ferry to the hotel which was very nice since the ferry takes you straight to the centraal station. However, if you plan on a night life in Amsterdam, the shuttle only runs until 11 and you might have to text them to come and get you. The bus station is very close to the hotel and can take you to the ferry too. The walk from the closest metro station is okay and if you have more than one bag of luggage, I suggest calling an uber or taxi as the uneven pavement makes the journey harder. They also let us into the room early with no additional charge for early check-in since the room was already ready for us. Sidenote: (This is probably only a me problem since i have a sensitive nose) The lobby had a weird smell but it did not follow to the room.

Staff were helpful and the room was clean can't ask for any more

Tout y est très bien, nous avons bien apprécié le déjeuner complet ainsi ie la navette jusqu'au ferry.

We were promised a ride to the cruise port. My husband and I are elderly and I walk slowly with a cane. The hotel shuttle driver did not pick us up at the front door and we had to walk around the building to catch his shuttle. I had to ask him to help me lift my bag. He was very surly and dropped us off a half mile from the ferry to get to the cruise with all our luggage. It was like pulling teeth for him to tell us where to catch ferry . He could have easily driven another few blocks closer to help us out. He swore under his breath when no tip was given. It took us another 10 blocks once we got off the ferry to get to our cruise. We saw numerous hotel shuttles dropping their guests and luggage right at the cruise port entrance . The hotel staff all were friendly but this shuttle driver left a very bad impression of our time at hotel and gives the hotel a bad review for hospitality.

Spacious rooms and good breakfast buffet. Only issue is due access where you can't reach reception without an access card or ringing the intercom. Not made clear enough.

Good value for money compared to other central Amsterdam hotels. Shuttle bus available from free ferry, but difficult to find on arrival. Quiet residential area.

Great experience overall

Hotel relatively newer compared to other hotels in the city center. Overpriced breakfast, but supermarket nearby. You have to take a ferry to get here. They have a shuttle from the dock to the hotel, very convenient. Not much happening in Amsterdam Noord, so frequently needed to take shuttle.
