Guests consistently praise the friendly, attentive staff who provide excellent service, including helpful recommendations for local attractions and dining. While there’s no on-site restaurant, a delightful bar and breakfast is available in the lobby, and numerous dining options are within walking distance. Overall, the Silversmith Hotel provides great value and a memorable experience for both business and leisure travelers.

One of the best beds I have slept in at a hotel in a while. My whole family and I loved the shower and the valet was very professional and prompt. I would highly recommend this property to anybody wanting an affordable high class stay in downtown Chicago.

The only reason why I did not give a 5 star review is because I was told there was a historic building fee, which I was happy to pay, but did not know I would see it daily on my invoice. I find it would be more helpful to have a flat rate shared, instead of a $26 random fee daily (which I see after I receive my final invoice) for clarity purposes.
