Room basic and clean. Ok for a 2 night stay.

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, and highly affordable place to crash while exploring Belfast, this hotel ticks all the boxes. You really can’t beat the location—it is situated right in the city centre on Dublin Road, making it an easy 10-minute walk to Belfast City Hall and just a short walk to the main transport hubs like Europa Buscentre and Grand Central Station.The rooms are exactly what you'd expect from an Ibis Budget: compact, no-frills, and highly functional. While the layout is quite minimal and the shower setup is open-concept, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was spotless, and the strong air conditioning was a massive plus. The Wi-Fi is reliable, which is great for planning your daily sightseeing.The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great local recommendations. They also have a 24/7 reception and bar/snack area, which was perfect for grabbing a late-night bite after a long day of walking.

Room was clean, but far too small for the double bed they've forced in there. There are no plug sockets by the bed. The one plug socket the room did have was coming away from the wall. I was only there for 2 nights. Anything more than that would have been unpleasant though. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

Check-in staff didn’t appear to know what they were doing. Also, the parking instructions that are given are completely wrong. Their instructions talk about downloading an app, paying when you leave with their discount rate etc. meanwhile the lot that they’re talking about (Dublin road car park) is completely paperless, pay-on-arrival as listed on all their boards (pic included for reference). When I asked the check-in staff about it, she just kept telling me I did it wrong and I shouldn’t have paid on arrival. She may have been new, but definitely didn’t have any solution. It was just pretty frustrating. Also, they say hair dryers available at front desk but when my wife went to go request one she was told “they’re all signed out. Come back later to check. No clue when they’ll be returned.” That was a little thing but on top of the parking situation, just no. The room itself was fine. Comfortable and quiet enough for our one night stay. However since we chose this place solely on the parking, it was off putting and we wouldn’t stay again.

Location is pretty good. Not too far from the train station. Many restaurants nearby. Hotel is ok. Room is on the small side but not bad. There isn’t really a separate bathroom. There is a shower “stall”, a sink in the bed area and a separate toilet stall. The light in the toilet is on a sensor but turns off within a few seconds with no movement. Also the toilet door is quite thin and has a gap at the bottom. Just keep that in mind if you are traveling with others … they can hear everything you are doing in the toilet.

Arrived last night to stay for The Cure gig in Ormeau Park. The hotel is really convenient. It was clean & comfortable. Staff seemed as if they didn't want to be there, to be honest. We were an inconvenience to them when checking in. Otherwise, not too bad, apart from the need for some paint in places.
