The room was spectacular. The views are some of the coolest I've seen in any hotel room.
The elevators are garbage. Be prepared to spend half of your day waiting around for absurdly busy elevators. People don't queue over there do no matter how long you've been waiting, obnoxious people will still walk straight past you to the front.
The breakfast is terrible. The worst kn our month of travelling in Vietnam. It's absolutely rammed full of people, terrible stale bread and half the stuff is finished and not replenished.
The staff are generally excellent but they struggle to have any kind of interpersonal connection with the hundreds upon hundreds of guests they're trying to deal with.
This is a massive hotel with a ridiculous number of people. If you want a colossal, impersonal experience with hundreds of obnoxious people then this is for you. It's too big, far too busy, low quality breakfast and horrendous waiting times for elevators.
But the rooms are spectacular if you get a panoramic river view. That made it worth it for me.
The location is okay but grab is so cheap that you can get anywhere in the city quickly for nothing.
