We had a fantastic stay at the Pestana Alvor Praia Premium Resort. Our room had a lovely ocean view and the loungers on our balcony were a welcome touch to enjoy a glass of wine after a busy day. The hotel has direct access to a beautiful white sand public beach where we enjoyed swimming and exploring the rocks and caves along the coast. There are private canopies and loungers available for rent with a small discount for hotel guests. This was worth the fee to have some shade and be off the hot sand. We really enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet that was included; with hot and cold options, lots of fresh fruit and juices, mimosas, lattes etc Great choice available! The hotel itself was very clean and the staff are excellent; cheerful and helpful. We didn’t catch his name but the young man at reception who checked us in was outstanding and made our stay! Would highly recommend this hotel!

Amazing hotel n a perfect location. On the most beautiful beach in Portugal. Delicious food lovely views from our balcony and relaxation the moment you arrive. Staff made the holiday.

This hotel is in an amazing spot and everything about it

Fabulous room overlooking the pool,beach and sea. Magical to wake up to the sounds of waves lapping against the shore. Staff are exceptional especially Joana & Irina in the hotel bar, both are real superstars!! Breakfast buffet style with everything you could wish for. Onsite Spa fantastic too we will be re-booking as many other guests do

It’s a beautiful property with amazing access to the beach, but the rooms are old. It needs refurbishment, and it needs a lot of love. (to be honest it is not a five star room to any standards.) however the staff is amazing. Amazing breakfast the most beautiful view you can imagine and private access to the beach. Makes it a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking for a four star hotel
