The rooms were amazing, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only two criticisms were that the eggs were pretty bad, and one of the lifts was out of order (which was a pain for us with a pushchair). Also: just give us teabags. The loose leaf kept coming out of the strainers leaving leaves floating in my tea

I had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Lille. The hotel's location is outstanding, just a short walk from the train stations, shopping center, restaurants, and the beautiful old town, making it perfect for exploring Lille.

The breakfast was average, it's such a small area, it was a bit chaotic on the 1st floor. The hotel was nice, situated in a great position to explore Lille.

Only stayed one night but was very good value compared with a B&B I had just moved out of and which had a lot of issues that took half a day to get sorted out by the owner. Comfortable , clean rooms with great shower , air con , kitchenette and all I needed apart from the view ! (Room described as with ‘view’) Good buffet breakfast included. Very near train station, metro and the old town. I would recommend and will go back another time.

The room is clean and tidy. Staff at reception are very helpful. The inclusive breakfast has a wide range of food available, and the sitting area is pleasant and clean. However the lift is a big frustration. Only one is working throughout our stay. It is small and waiting to get in can be quite long. The hygiene just outside the main entrance of the hotel is poor with unpleasant smell. Not sure why it is not cleaned regularly

Nice hotel in a very convenient location. The staff were super friendly and helpful and having on-site laundry facilities was a plus for us.

We arrived at 3am and the night concierge was very helpful. The breakfast was manic and they could not cope with the number of guests food ran out and even plates ran out. The room was lovely and clean and the housekeeper she was amazing, we only saw one, a lovely dark skinned lady who was working extremely hard trying to clean all the rooms and doing so with a smile, simply amazing. On the way out we were stuck in the car park as the reception team did not tell us the code changed. Overall lovely clean hotel good service, breakfast was not good, great housekeeper.
