Highly recommend as an excellent value option. This is a large hostel with many students and adults staying. Very lively and fun environment. Lobby is great meeting place. The building is very well staffed and they are exceptionally helpful. We stayed during the June 2026 heat wave. No air conditioning was an issue, but staff made fans available. Helps if you appreciate people and don’t mind night activity.

For the price, worth every penny. Has a self service check in, which didnt work so had to wait around for staff, other wise all good

Beds are metal and have these noisy metal side baskets attached to them and it's just basic bunk beds so no privacy or isolation. My bed still had a crumpled sheet on it so I don't think it was attended to before I got in it. Vast hallways of rooms. No outlets near the beds so some people had outstretch cords for laptops to navigate. Bathrooms are in the room, but partly because you don't get a towel with your sheets, no one used the shower. The only plus was that these mostly college age kids seemed to be having a great time at the breakfast downstairs. (Cereal, juice, and automated pancake machines). I just wanted to not far from the train, but I wouldn't book it again as a single traveler.

Staff were excellent. Check-in area, bar, study desks, lobby, washrooms, lockers, picnic grounds etc, all were top class and well maintained. One factor that needed attention was the shared bathroom in the dormitory #167. It was filthy. During my two nights, I wasn’t able to use it even once.

There were many noises in the hallway of the building and no one seems is able to control that, so, would be cool if you put a sign stating to please remain in silence. but otherwise all cool...

We enjoyed our stay here and it was quite busy with travelers. It was quiet though we were not bothered by the crowds or noise. The laundry room was a bit hard to find there wasn't much signage telling you exactly where it was, it was a little challenging with an app you had to download but we figured it out.

We had a fantastic stay at one of the private rooms. Just like most other hotels and very good location near to the train station

Cheap and cheerful accommodation just outside the city centre but close enough to walk in within 15-20 minutes. I got a private room with a bathroom which wasn’t the best, but it was clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the pillow had seen much better days. I ended up using my coat and stuffing it inside the pillow case just to plump it up. There is no kettle inside either. The walls in the room are in need of redecorating due to a lot of scratch marks from suitcases and general wear and tear, given how busy it is, but you get what you pay for… it is cheap for a reason. Great location if you are not overly fussed about where you are staying on a budget city break and just want to use it to get some sleep. If you’re looking for something more upmarket, I’d look elsewhere. There is a bar at the front which is decent, showing sports and has cheap food available such as hot dogs, pizza and fries. There is also a table football and pool table if that’s your thing. For the price I expected exactly what I got and wasn’t overly fussed apart from the comfort of the bed and the pillow being quite poor.
