The stay was pleasant. The hotel was in a great, central location. The rooms were clean and the property well-maintained.

Great location, easy onsite parking. Very spacious room. Would definitely recommend.

Staff took special attention and wished me happy birthday, and even gave a surprise in the room. Really very happy with this stay, and love the property architecture

Great hotel, very charming, awesome location, friendly staff and great food at the pub.

Loved our stay. The room was lovely, the welcome cookie was fab, the breakfast was really good. Nice location. We will definitely stay again.

Disappointing Stay with Serious Housekeeping Deficiencies (2/5 Stars) I recently stayed at this hotel for eight nights. As a local, I chose this property for its convenient location while spending 13–14 hour days preparing my nearby house for sale. Unfortunately, what should have been a restful refuge turned out to be a highly disappointing experience due to major issues with cleanliness and policy compliance. The hotel's policy states that sheets are changed every three days. On my third night, I specifically left the "service room" button illuminated. When I returned at 9:00 PM, the room hadn't been touched. Consequently, my sheets were only changed once during my entire stay. Worse, the top sheet had visible stains and holes from day one, and this exact damaged bedding remained on my bed for all eight nights. The bathroom was disappointing, featuring visible pink mold, dirty grout, and a bathtub with worn-off enamel that looked completely uninviting. I also found rubbish inside the pocket of the provided dressing gown, proving it hadn't been washed between guests. There was excessive dust on the surfaces, and vacuum cleaners and dirty laundry bags were routinely left in the hallways at night. The breakfast buffet was a mixed experience. While the freshly cooked poached eggs were lovely, the plates were cold on a couple of occasions, which quickly ruined the hot food. The property has potential, but the lack of basic hygiene and the failure to follow room-servicing policies

Only 1 day did the housekeeping staff forget to clean our cups. Breakfast - needs better coffee machine and options for guests who are lactose intolerant and also soy intolerant.

It was a reasonably priced hotel with more than adequate facilities including parking.

The breakfast was great. The best that I've had in many years.

This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful ambiance and gardens and friendly helpful staff. My main issue is with the air conditioning as the room was way too hot and even turning the knob to the coldest possible position still produces heating, just less. They said their default heating level was 26’C!!! The only way to get cool was to open the window, and in my room the window didn’t open far enough. So if you like a cool room, it might be a challenge!
