Simple and affordable business hotel. The rooms are a bit small but that is typical of japanese hotels. Check in was smooth and staff were very helpful. It may be challenging to communicate if you do not know Japanese though.

I thought overall my stay was very nice. There was however some mold on the shower curtain which was a turn off. But I would stay here again because it is in a good location and everyone was very nice.

Caveat. AreaOne is a "business hotel", which in Japan ryends to be a small hotel with modest facilities catering almost exclusively to locals (staff speak limited English, rooms are very samall by western standards, no parking, etc). On te positive side, the staff was helpful, the room was very clean, breakfast buffet was very nice and it is located close to downtowm.

Let me just talk my experience. First when I got into room,whole room smelled like burning some chemical and I couldnt breath and couldnt stop coughing mean while. Bathroom smelled different bad smell too. Also I booked non smoking room, but when I went to bed, I found out all pillows and futon smelled tobacco and something sweat, mold. Off course my night was nightmare. I’ve never had these experience. I hope nobody will have same experience as I had.

Typical Japanese business hotel, with even smaller room than normal. Small convenient parking lot across the street. Ten minute+ walk to convenience store or station, located in a residential/commercial neighborhood with no apparent appeal. If looking for a cheap one night stay, with in and out plans, this will do. Leave suitcase in car, not much room for anything more than overnight essentials.

Front desk on the top floor is not easy friendly provide service. Hotel without car park and did not clearly mentioned. They have sponsored 800 yens maximum with 5 car park nearly hotel for 3:00pm - 8:00am and not allow to freely drive out once log the car. Front desk did not provided clearly information for discerning the park location.
