Nice, noble style hotel. Only the location is not for the night life. Can’t even find a local bar…..

Very cutie European feel hotel. The breakfast options are great but the food may not suit westerners taste. We stayed 3 night and tried all 3 breakfast options. Overall, very clean and great place to rest.

Hotel staffs were so friendly and helpful! They kept our luggage as our room was not yet ready. They recommended where to eat and what to see. Later, we came back and our room was ready. Turns out we checked in 2 hrs before regular check in time. We appreciated the early check-in without any fees. Their breakfast was amazing. You can select American style, Chinese style, or Japanese style. Plus, you have unlimited breakfast buffet too including rice, TW traditional dishes, bread, fruits and coffee / drinks. It was awesome! Overall, 10 out of 10! We enjoyed staying here and highly recommended!

Really lovely room with a cosy feel. Nice and quiet. Breakfast food choices can be a little unusual for some travelers with mostly large meal dishes as main options and limited smaller choice but certainly nice enough.

We enjoyes the old world charm. Stayed overnight from HSR that has a free shuttle to city center a 15min walk to the hotel.

Very good Tainan Hotel, good location close to many of the main attractions. comfortable room with good facilities. Excellent staff and customer service. (Front desk are always available and ready to help their guests) A choice of Chinese Japanese or western breakfast prepared to a high standard. Would recommend and use again Sally and Dave York’s

The hotel is located in the center of the historical town. Lots to explore within a couple of kilometers. It is quiet, new and well equipped. We slept well. The breakfast was provided with options of Chinese or western style. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. I think it is one of the best hotels I have stayed. Highly recommended!

Our stay at the Golden Tulip Boutique Hotel in Tainan was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to both the hotel’s comfort and the outstanding service—especially from Cody, who truly made our experience unforgettable. He spoke excellent English, making communication effortless, and gave us fantastic recommendations for local eats that made our trip even more special. His attentiveness and thoughtfulness were unparalleled—he anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, making us feel incredibly welcomed and well taken care of. I’ve traveled extensively, and I can confidently say that Cody provided the best service I’ve ever received. The hotel itself was also a great choice. Our room was comfortably sized—I traveled with a baby and had no trouble fitting our travel crib while still having plenty of walking space. The in-room amenities, including a coffee maker and minibar, added extra convenience, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Despite being in a convenient location with easy access to attractions and dining, the hotel was pleasantly quiet, with peaceful hallways and minimal street noise.
