I don't want to sound like a complainer but I have mixed feelings about my stay at Henann Lagoon Resort.
I'll get the negatives out of the way first and say that this is not a quiet resort if you are looking a relaxing holiday away. What I mean is in the evenings there is always a band playing in the restaurant, I'm told it is supposed to stop at 9pm but most nights over my stay it went past that, one night closer to 10pm. Because all the rooms in the resort basically overlook the restaurant you can't escape the noise. Also during our stay some renovations had been taking place which resulted in grinding and tile cutting as we tried to relax around the pool. If you are thinking of staying you might want to clarify if this will be ongoing. The breakfast buffet was just ok, it was quite limited and often got extremely busy in mornings resulting in having to wait sometimes.
The area itself is all go, walk outside and you get hit with it. I recommend station 1 if you want a quieter stay.
On a positive note their shuttle service from the hotel to Boracay airport is amazing, in highly recommend you take it for a stress free transfer. I didn't use it on the way there and it was a "free for all". Most of the staff where friendly and courteous and the hotel is clean. It probably just wasn't the best pick for the holiday I wanted but would suit others.
