The joining rooms were actually larger than you'd normally find in HK - and that was great. The location and pricing can't be beat. The afternoon happy hour was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff was awesome.
But either pre-book the breakfast, or skip it (and it's not really worth the price anyway). We tried to buy breakfast one day during our stay. It was a complete nightmare. The staff at breakfast knew the price, but didn't know how to collect the payment. There's no option to pay there or to charge it to your room. We tried to figure it out with them for a while before they said we needed to go to the lobby and pre-book before we could eat (by then, the 4- and 6-year-olds were losing their minds). We decided to skip it and leave and find food elsewhere, but they let us eat instead. But as soon as you have breakfast, you'll then be forced to go to the reception desk immediately to settle the bill. Just a clusterf*. We didn't make this mistake again - we just skipped it every day with so many great choices all within walking distance.
