Had problems with registering with the automatic check in, didn't get help from front desk.

Very nice rooms! I appreciated that even though the rooms are a bit smaller, the bathroom was bigger which was helpful.

I wasn’t sure about booking this hotel. But it was FANTASTIC! Huge king size bed. But it took up most of the room. Slept great. Rooms were well insulated and couldn’t hear any hall noise or neighbors. Recommend to bring small luggage (or you can store your large bag downstairs). We had backpacks (left our big bags in Tokyo) so we were perfect. Nice happy hour. Extraordinary breakfast bar with MANY selections! Fantastic small restaurant down back door alley for traditional Hiroshima cabbage pancake. Close to Peace Park. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Bedroom and bathroom were extremely small, however, the room sizes are clearly stated on the website so can’t complain.

I do not write negative reviews lightly, but this stay was unacceptable—particularly in terms of cleanliness, safety, and staff attitude. The bathroom had an overwhelming, persistent mold smell from the moment I arrived, raising serious concerns about hygiene and air quality. The toilet also emitted a foul odor, making the space difficult to use. The bathroom appears to be a prefabricated unit awkwardly inserted into the room, with a dangerously raised threshold. The door sits about a foot above floor level. When I exited the bathroom, I didn’t anticipate the extent of the drop, my knee buckled, and I dropped and fell hard on my knees and hip. This is a clear safety hazard, especially for those with mobility concerns. Staff were inflexible and brusque throughout. After I accidentally lost my key card (it fell between a train and platform on an outing), I was charged 3000 yen (~$30 CAD) with no understanding or flexibility—an excessive penalty for a piece of plastic. Hiroshima is a remarkable place. It’s deeply disappointing this hotel detracted from the experience through poor maintenance, unsafe design, and unsympathetic service. I strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

Clean Room, good bed sheets and towels, nice staff
