Great location, great price. Really clean facilities.

Great place if you don’t mind a small room. Obviously not as nice as some of the hotels on State street but a great landing pad for the price.

Buena ubicación

This hotel was very cute and well-maintained. This hotel was updated and everything inside is new and 1960's nostalgic. The rooms are small and the pool is extremely small ( about the size of a large hot tub). The staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was perfect. After walking on the beach, we noticed black tar on the bottom of our feet from the ocean. You cannot see this when you are on the beach or in the water. The hotel has wipes for your feet and cleaner for the bathtub. Parking was pretty easy, as well. For a short weekend trips, this is a great choice.

I reserved a queen size bed but got a double bed

Nicely updated with clean rooms and small pool but staff were unhelpful. We had asked for rooms near each other due to grandparents traveling with 2 teen boys. We were put in different wings and different floors. And the room phones didn’t work so had to keep checking in person. No acknowledgment of gold status.

Motel 6 gets the thumbs up for being half a block from the beach. Walking down to the beach each morning to do some exercises was pretty magical. (This is not the motel's fault, but be aware that all the beaches in the area have a good amount of tar. It is natural tar. It is messy!) Part of the reason I'm giving this motel 4 instead of 3 stars, is that I appreciated that it was nicely kept. Very clean and helpful staff. Much cleaner and fresher feeling than most travelodges. But I think you must have ear plugs. I could hear people through walls and through the ceiling above me. On my last night it seemed like people had checked out so I got my first good night's sleep. The air conditioning was occasionally loud, though I did get used to that. The side of the bed I would normally sleep on was lumpy. So I moved to the middle. That was fine. I was lucky enough to be able to have my own room so I had plenty of storage. I think it would be more difficult for two people. They were kind of stingy with towels supplied in the room, though if you wanted more, they brought them with no problem. I don't know if any of the rooms have microwaves, but mine did not. Did not care for the creamer for the coffee in the lobby in the morning. They offer either powder or flavored syrupy stuff. Offered easy to use dish TV. Pleasant to sit by the pool at night but did not swim in it. I heard it was unheated.

Rooms are really small - but gets the job done.

This is a little gem within a half block of the beach. No, it’s not luxury, but it kitschy and fun. We would definitely stay here again.

Staff is awesome. Housekeeping is top notch. Location is great. Novelty unrepeatable.
