Traveling solo, I just needed a clean and comfortable room close to Strasbourg at Christmas. Strasbourg hotels were expensive at that time and Hotel Rosengarten was the perfect solution. I took the train to and from Strasbourg but there was also light rail, taxis, and ride share available. Dimitri was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My room was small but it was just for me. I did not see inside any other rooms. It was quiet and in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. No elevator but if you’re on the top floor, it’s just two flights of stairs. The park across the street was beautiful and shopping is nearby.

Very pleasant staff and owner, good position. Condition, comfort, breakfast for the price at the very good level.

Nice big room but old and dated. Shower hook broken & toilet flush came off in my hand beds average. Breakfast nice . Had problems on checking out as owners wanted us to pay twice and then pay double for breakfast. We'd payed in advance and took an argument before it was admitted we had payed.( I had email confirmation)

Basic hotel, but extremely friendly staff Not impressed

Great location and staff. Older boutique hotel with a few wrinkles but a great place to stay.great food in the restaurant..

All okay without being marvellous. Everything was of a middling standard without being anywhere near top rate.
