Friendly helpful staff. Quiet clean room. Wish they didn’t feel they have to put up a sign at breakfast that says essentially that if you take seconds it will be added to the bill. The sign puts a negative spin on an otherwise friendly atmosphere. The breakfast room is clean but utilitarian and not decorated with taste which is unfortunate because the breakfast offerings were quite good.

Excellent location at a reasonable price! Less than a fifteen minute walk from the train station. My room had a lovely view of the green piazza with a fountain and a view of the church steeple. Right at the entry into the historic center. Nice breakfast and kind service.

Conveniently located near the historic center. The staff is nice and helpful.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Good selection for breakfast. Bathroom dark as it was painted black. Good restaurants near by.

Well appointed hotel located conveniently on the north edge of the historic part of town. Clean and modern with a lobby covered in posters highlighting 50+ years of the Spoleto Festival. Nice staff too!

We chose this hotel because of the parking, and because it had surprisingly good reviews. Perhaps we got one of the older rooms, but the décor was sparse, the room was old ( and cold) and the hotel was in need of upgrading. The "breakfast" was sparse as well, a few pieces of cheese, some terrible pastries and cereal, and canned juices. I would not recommend this hotel unless nothing else is available. It is however fairly close to the commercial and shopping areas of the newer part of the town of Spoleto.

Hotel overall is pretty good and the reception staff were charming but the breakfast was undoubtedly poor. On site parking is a bonus.

It's all hills in Spoleto (though you can cheat and use the escalators). This hotel was the nearest online to the station, just over 10 mins of gentle climbing into the main square at the foot of the old town hill. Staff were friendly, stored my bag and the room was comfortable with pleasant smelling free toiletries. I didn't bother with breakfast as it required a phone call in the morning (I think as the hotel was quiet they didn't want to put on the full buffet). Would recommend.

Hotel Clarici wasa comfortable hotel. The front of the hotel overlooks the main square. The upside of my room at the front is that it had a balcony; the downside was that the sound of the traffic was noticeable but not TOO loud. But I always bring foam earplugs when I stay at hotels, so no problem. The Room was basic + small but comfortable, bathroom facilities were fine and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location for visiting Spoleto; however, it overlooks a piazza that is very noisy. Young people frequented it the night we were there and they were very loud until quite late. There are a few rooms in the rear that would not be subject to the noise. Ask for #51. The place was clean, the breakfast was good and overall a good place to stay.
