I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The location is amazing, and the outdoor onsen was truly exceptional — one of the best I’ve experienced. That alone almost made the stay worth it.
However, the hotel itself felt like a giant cruise ship — and not in a good way. It’s very large and noticeably outdated. The room was nothing special, and the overall atmosphere lacked charm.
Dinner was decent, but it reminded me of a Las Vegas buffet or something you’d find on a cruise — big, impersonal, and a bit old-school.
If it weren’t for the incredible onsen, I’d probably give this place two stars. My advice: visit for the onsen, but consider staying elsewhere if you’re looking for a more updated and personal hotel experience.
