Fabulous high class European style food, friendly knowledgeable staff and wonderful observatory and star gazing experience set in a peaceful location with lovely maisonette style chalets.

Wonderful experience I would recommend for anyone.

Endroit sympa et personnel dévoué. L’expérience de l’observatoire est remarquable, on en est sortis émotionnellement grandis. Bravo !

Quirky and remote property from the Showa era that evokes Ghibli-esque charm. The weather was cold and rainy but our stay at one of the cabins was warm and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were varied and delicious. Staff spoke English. Highly recommend!

It’s a nice place and unique but I think it’s overrated

Beautiful, tranquil property with an excellent dinner and star observatory show

It’s a serene place in the countryside, I really appreciated the planetarium & observatory experience there. The staff and the owner are all very nice, they will help you with anything you need. My room was so big, I couldn’t believe it. The bathroom was bigger than some hotel rooms in Tokyo.

This was a very special experience, and the stargazing was unlike anything I've ever done. However, arriving at the hotel and being told there was no way for me to eat dinner at the restaurant because I hadn't booked 3 days in advance left a bitter taste in my mouth. If you're going to have a rule like that, please MAKE IT CLEAR in your booking details, or with a separate message to those who have booked. It seemed like everyone there knew this except for me (everyone else was Japanese, leading me to believe whatever Japanese booking website they used actually makes this clear). I was forced to hire a cab to take me to 7 Eleven while gazing in at the dining room where everyone else was serenely eating a multicourse meal, and it was maddening.

四人入住獨棟房，空間寬敞、舒適。廁所和浴室分開的設計很棒。 晚上的觀星體驗很有趣，工作人員會用日文和英文解說。 整體的環境非常舒適，非常推薦可以到天文台住一晚。

This is our second visit to Luna and this time we opt for the half japanese half western room as the beds were too hard during our previous visit. The futons were more comfortable this time. The beds were still too hard to sleep on. This time we managed to see the telescope even though the sky was cloudy. It is definitely a great experience and recommended. The food is excellent too.
