Nice hotel next to train station. Though it’s next to the train station, it’s out of the hustle and bustle of the area. There’s a station elevator near by exit 5 which is nice for luggage! We took day trips from this area as well as shopped in the area… it was a great location. I liked the separate shower and tub to shower then soak after walking over 10 miles most days.

Outstanding hotel with friendly staff and excellent attention to detail. The optional on-site breakfast was delicious, with a wide selection of quality items and exceptional service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return.

This property is very conveniently located right next to Kyoto Station. A very short walk after a long train commute was a perfect way to start. The front desk staff was efficient and friendly, and check in was a breeze. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Room sizes in Japan aren’t large but this didn’t feel as cramped as others. It was especially nice, for the first time ever, to be acknowledged as an Expedia status member - late check out and a free soft drink were handled right up front - no need to ask. And, we got a space available move up to a slightly better room than booked. In the room was a personalized letter from the GM welcoming me as an Expedia frequent traveler. Very surprised that the Expedia thing actually paid off for a change. The breakfast buffet is worth including in your booking - the choices are ample and the quality is good. Overall this is a great value in a big tourist city in Japan, and I would stay there again without hesitation.

Attractive hotel located right next to the train station. There is so much to do (shop!) with in walking distance of the hotel, as well as an easy train ride to nearby places. The rooms were a good size and I enjoyed the separate shower/tub bath for soaking after a long day walking. The room fridge is nice to keep snacks and water cold. We found our favorite tonkatsu curry and ramen (not in station) near by! The staff were all nice and helpful as well. I recommend this hotel!

The rooms were large (no need to upgrade for more space) the bed was huge and super confortable. The buffet breakfast is worth it. I’m so glad we stayed at this hotel. It was marvelous.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff are superb. A great location next to the train and subway stations, and the 'Porta' for dinning.

Hotel was perfectly located next to Kyoto station. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Property felt like a 5 star hotel at a 3 star price.

Very nice accommodations super convenient to Kyoto station. This was a great home base for our time in Kyoto! Also lots of food options nearby. Definitely recommend staying here! Comfy & clean! Breakfast also great!
