it was very poor. The sheets were dirty. The floor was dirty. and it was noisy (not the hotel’s fault).

Wonderful family owned hotel. The TL or tenderloin neighborhood is San Francisco can always be a bit sketchy, but the city seems to have cleaned up in the last couple of years. This is an old hotel which I’m sure if the walls could talk would have quite the stories it has one of the oldest elevators in the city, which is really cool. I would definitely stay here again and it’s a great hotel when you’re on a budget.

“From the moment I stepped into The Admiral Hotel, I was enveloped in a serene, eco-chic oasis that felt like a love letter to Northern California’s natural beauty. The lobby, adorned with reclaimed redwood and a living moss wall, immediately set a tranquil tone, with the scent of clean air offering a refreshing escape from the city bustle.

We spent 3 nights here in the middle of San Fran. Everything we wanted to get to was walking distance (10-15 mins will hills) or easily accessible to transit. The owner was friendly and I loved the vintage elevator and staircase, truly felt like a nice historical setting while the rooms were modern enough with nice big windows.
