This property is absolutely wonderful, clean spacious lots of amenities, the staff are very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here twice, it’s in a brilliant location and Baku is very walkable so this is a great spot. Lovely views on the higher floors and the food is good.

Breakfast was nice. The restaurant on 15th floor was under renovations, so they set it up on the 2nd floor meeting room. Yet, everything was nicely served and warm/fresh food replenished continuously. I'm sure the views from the 15th floor are amazing, so I'll recommend it to anyone going nex time.

Based on the special rate we had for the room, it represented good value but I wouldn’t pay the normal prices. The hotel overall was ok but closer to a 3* rather than 4*. All of the staff were fine but I didn’t find them especially friendly as a lot of the other reviews state Cleanliness was really good and housekeeping obviously do a really thorough job. The hotel overall is looking a bit dated now. Our sofa was really shabby with lots of wear and tear along with stains. Biggest disappointment was probably breakfast which was well below the standard of other movenpick hotels I’ve stayed in. If the rate shown is at the lower end of the average cost for the room I’d probably recommend staying here

Even non-smoking room had odour Breakfast terrible (plates of sweating cheese and meat, stale pastries) Very good check-in and receptionists

My stay at the Mövenpick was very pleasant, and the location turned out to be perfect. At first, I wasn’t impressed when arriving through the back entrance—it was tight, and I could barely squeeze in to reach the front desk. I even considered leaving. But Fatima at reception, with her kindness and warm smile, convinced me to stay at least one night. I ended up staying five. She is truly wonderful and so helpful. A special thanks as well to Nigar, who assisted me with directions to the Old City and recommended excellent restaurants. She checked on me daily through WhatsApp, always offering help whenever needed. And Ayten deserves recognition for arranging my Gobustan and mud volcano tours. She assured me I could contact her with any issue, and she meant it. When the tour driver attempted to charge more than the agreed price, I messaged her directly; she immediately resolved it through the company’s management. Their professionalism goes far beyond expectations, and I truly appreciate all they did.

Clean rooms just wish there was earlier and breakfast with more plain scrambled eggs ( it’s a pain waiting for the eggs)

Great location. Property could be cleaner though.

We were given a smoking room when checking in with our one-year-old. Upon our request, we were moved to a non-smoking room, as the stench was unbearable. Checkout was long, even though it was 6 a.m. and there was no one else in line. The receptionist was rude and abrupt, huffing and rolling his eyes at us. I would not recommend this hotel, as there are more modern boutique options that cost less and are in far better condition.

We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Hotel Baku! The location is perfect, and the breakfast was excellent. Special thanks to Kenan and the entire team for their kindness and professionalism. Also, Nigar from customer service was always helpful and attentive throughout our stay. It was my husband’s birthday, and the hotel made it truly special — they surprised us with a delicious cake in the room, a beautiful fruit basket, and a mix of almonds, walnuts, and hazelnuts. We always have great experiences with Mövenpick hotels, and I believe we’ll continue choosing them, insha’Allah.
