We checked in on July 26, 2026, originally for 3 nights but left after 2, for units 7 & 9. - We were not a fan of the coqui frogs. If you like to be serenaded from sunset to early hours of the morning this is your place. Apparently these frogs like to serenade for many hours, and we later found out (via local TV news) they are considered a nuisance and should be reported to authorities. - In unit 9, there appeared to be dried up contact lens on the night stand = GROSS - the shower gels that were provided and installed on the shower wall appeared to be very old, since there were layers of color for each of the 3 containers = GROSSER - Hey, housekeeping, how about spending a few dollar$ and buying new shower curtains? Mold and/or dirt and/or grime was Very Obvious on the plastic curtain = GROSSEST. - when we arrived, it was very hot and humid. Upon entering each unit, the windows and curtains were open. The room was way too hot and we had to wait for about 6-7 hours for the rooms to get somewhat comfortable (after closing the windows and drapes, of course, and turning the a/c on) after waiting on the porch for a bit and returning from dinner later. Giving a rating 3 of 5 is somewhat generous in my opinion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Aaron’s Cottage. Our cottage was clean and well stocked with every amenity, coffee, coffee maker, toaster oven, dishes, and pots and pans. There is also a shared full kitchen for wider cooking options. The check in and check out process was simple and easy. We highly recommend Aaron’s Cottage and will definitely stay here again in the future.

The property is very nice and green. Well kept grounds. Very quaint. I stayed in the bungalow unit and it was very easy to get I to. Check in instructions were easy to follow. The unit was very clean and had everything I needed for the two nights I was there. AC worked well but it was loud. Eventually you get used to it. Shower had a good supply of hot water. The bed was comfortable. I am sensitive to detergents with smell so I had a hard time with that. Maybe cut down on the scented detergent, but that’s me. Most people are not bothered by it. The woman who was busily working when I arrived around 8:30pm was super sweet and helped me find the unit, answered my questions and went on her way. Overall I will stay here again, I was very happy with this rental.

Hi! We stay at Aaron’s every year for the Fourth of July weekend and we usually have an amazing stay! This time around i received a bunch of bug bites from our bed, on my back and butt. And we did find a flea in our bed one morning. The water pressure in our shower was really low as well. We stayed in cottage 1.

I couldn’t watch the tv the first night till I pull out the plug then it worked I was in #9 my brother was in #1 his air conditioning didn’t work at all blowing hot air for 2 nights when I got in my room the first day I step on a Roach in the bathroom lucky I had a slipper on. Other then that every thing was good

Host was very nice and helpful at check in. Amenities were sufficient. Nice welcome amenity in room and much appreciated. Light on porch was out making it hard to see. Shower facility in room was different. No waste basket in bathroom or a place to put toiletries and makeup when trying to use the mirror. Everyrhing got wet in bathroom when showering. No luggage rack or dresser Room very clean. Nice big clean kitchen with sufficient supplies. Very quiet area. Easy access to room was needed snd received. Comfortable bed. Would hv been nice to hv a small bistro perhaps. Brought 2 chairs in to sit on to hv dinner. Highly recommend this nice, low key, and comfortable place

The room was very clean and comfortable.

The bungalow was clean with kitchen area for food prep that met all of our needs. Will stay there again. Mahalo
