Our stay at Atheneum was Great! It was very Pleasant and Very Clean. The staff were Very Friendly and Helpful. I recommend you Check them out if you plan to visit Detroit..

The property needs updating and refreshment. Room furniture is old but functional, wallpaper in hallways need to be replaced.

The hotel experience was incredible. Staff were warm and welcoming. All ammenities exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be staying at this hotel when I return to Detroit.

All staff were extremely helpful with suggestions, requests, and directions. The rooms were nice and clean.

Everything was perfect

The hotel was very nice. The staff and valet were friendly. Great location with an easy walk to Comerica Park.

Clean, convenient shuttle unfortunately not specific with cut off for pick up, most of staff friendly and quiet.

Room was pretty clean, could use some updating, though. Careful getting in and out of the tub. My wife and I both slipped which would've definitely ruined the stay. Also for some odd reason the fire alarm went off first thing in the morning, about 6am, with a guy saying over the loudspeaker "this is a test, thank you for your inconvenience". I'm thinking, huh, where they do that at? It was very disturbing to say the least. water reservoir for kurig coffee maker was extremely dirty and nasty with what looked like mold. Lastly, you could hear noise in the hallway all through the night, could use better soundproofing

Very convenient location-walkable to almost everything we came in town to see and experience. Staff is wonderful. Spacious rooms for families.

Wonderful rooms and location.
