Hotel is located in a good location. walkable to everything. room and bathroom was clean and nice. It would be perfect if there was a mini fridge in the room but overall, it's worth what you paid for.

Great price and location. Room & bathroom was small but worked for our 1 night stay. No mini fridge or AC or fans. Place was clean, staff was very nice, friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location is great !!! Near a lot of shops, china town, union square and you even walk to pier 39. Very happy with the hotel !!

Room was very basic but clean and we felt safe in the area. Very walkable to Chinatown and Union Square. We parked at a nearby parking garage and had no issues with our vehicle. No refrigerator in the room. For the price I would stay here again

Great place.

I really enjoyed my stay at Grant Plaza Hotel. Built in the 1920s, the hotel has a unique charm and rich history that adds to the experience. The rooms are a bit small, and the online photos make them seem a little larger and more modern than they are, but everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were a little firm for my liking, but the outstanding staff more than made up for it. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent customer service. For the price, it’s a great value, and I would definitely stay here again.

It is an old and small hotel with a small friendly staff. Our room was spartan but utilitarian. It is not luxurious or fancy, does not serve breakfast, although they do have coffee in the morning. The shower was OK but the water pressure, and hence flow, was less than desirable. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature, although not thermostatically control in the individual room, was tolerable, even with the windows opened slightly, which was all the time from when we checked-in. They have wi-fi, and a TV in the room. This hotel suited us and our budget. I would stay there again.

It was clean and check in/out was easy and quick. Nice staff. They operate like its still COVID. No maid service, plastic everywhere, and everyone is masked. I was surprised there was no HVAC in the room. The windows open and there was a floor fan, but no thermostat. Its summer in SF so it was fine with windows open, but it was noisy. Can't imagine what they do in the winter. The mattress was like sleeping on a piece of cardboard that was on top of pillows. The pillows were small. Shower was clean and hot, but no conditioner. Only shampoo and body wash. For a quick stay its fine when you aren't in the room much. I wouldn't want to be in there all day.
