The amenities they advertise do not exist. There was no room service/in-room dining. The coffee shop/Starbucks advertised daily hours of 6:30-11am. Only one time in 4 days was it actually open. Check-in process took 2 1/2 hours. The elevators were so rickety, all passengers joked that we may not survive this elevator ride, and crossed our fingers not to die. The in-house restaurant states specific hours they are open until, except they’re not. The bar’s last call is actually 8:45pm, not 10pm as told by front desk staff upon check-in.
I have a Double Tree near me in Illinois that is super nice and has much higher standards than this place. I assumed all Double Tree hotels were held to the same standard. They’re not. Save your money and find a LaQuinta Inn or something.
