I loved my stay! The room isn't brand new, and there's some wear and tear (the towels were HORRIBLE---stained, ragged, I didn't use them on my body/face), but overall the room was in decent shape, and the view/balcony was worth it. I like that the room comes with food to feed the animals (giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests were near my room). The room is spacious. Even though there's no elevator, getting to upper-level rooms is easy peasy because there's a ramp. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely recommend others to check out this unique property. FYI- Dinner at the restaurant can get crazy with the Night Safari folks rushing in and around to eat and make their event times.

This is a fantastic experience, especially if visiting with children. We had a one-night stay in the Mara Safari Hotel, which was a stopover before moving onto Sanur. Unfortunately the rooms are incredibly tired and would benefit from a major refurbishment / freshen up. The food at the restaurant was great; however when it came to ordering dessert, almost all options were not available despite the hotel being very quiet. This was disappointing.

The room has the perfect view of the animals, and you get to feed them with the food provided by the hotel. Imagine swimming next to Rhinos! The safari itself was a jewel, did not have enough time to explore the whole resort but I was able to see the elephant and tiger show, and I also did the night feeding, definitely a tremendous experience.

Very nice place, fairly well maintained with lots of animals close up, many options, night dinner show was great and felt save everywhere.

Staff were so lovely. We could see zebras and a rhino from our room. This is real bucket list stuff.

The.reason to stay here was for the balcony view of the animals. My kids were super excited to feed the animal from the balcony. Overall room was clean, but do expect critters during your stay. As this is an outdoor resort, they will be bugs, lizard that might make their way into your room.w However, you can always call the hotel staff to remove the lizards.

Overall, our stay was good. Food at the hotel was good quality, but not as great as some of the other places in Bali for the same money. Rooms were clean on the surface, but could use a deep clean and a bit of a renovation in some spots since they are showing signs of wear and tear.
