Clean room, helpful staff, and great restaurant attached.

Room was mostly clean, though there was a lot of dust buildup on the top of the shower head. The air conditioning was fairly good. View was terrible, but that didn’t matter much to us. In the bathroom, the shower fan went on automatically which seemed to occur randomly and therefore we had a lot of steam buildup on the mirrors. There was no conditioner, only a combo shampoo/bodywash. And the toilet paper was annoying single tissue pieces. Staff ranged from tired to sarcastic. The location is fairly sketchy but great for getting around. My biggest complaint was probably the wifi. It was terrible: very slow and inconsistent. They had an option to pay 5 pounds a day to upgrade to a faster speed, which seems ridiculous to me. Would rather they just have a proper connection right off the bat and increase the nightly rate; that way I’m not having to enter all my card details every day to access an actually functioning wifi.

Room was clean and comfortable. Front staff friendly and helpful.

I'm not sure how this hotel had so many 4 star reviews. Let me start with the positives. The staff was kind and the bed was super comfortable and it had A/C. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. The hotel is so dark, drab and outdated. There were no amenities. No free secure WiFi, no safe, no mini fridge, no microwave, not even tissues. The one chair in the room was uncomfortable. There were no drawers for clothes, just an awkward piece of furniture for hanging a few items. The location was a bit sketchy. It was definitely not worth the money.

Its average except for the hotel staff who were very responsive. The neighborhood is rather dodgy and I wouldn’t advise staying there with your family. There is a restaurant adjacent to the hotel. The staff could use some training on protocol and manners. Other than that I don’t think its very good value . Premier has several other hotels in and around city center so you might want to check their ratings befre you decide.

It was great for sleep as room was nice and dark. It was definitely just a place to rest your head.
