A little nice gem in the heart of Kanazawa. It's hard to believe the building was over 100 years old. Great job on the renovation. The entire suite was great for family and perhaps a group of friends. Hugh and well stocked kitchen on 1st floor, large tatami bedroom and a cozy living room on the 2nd floor. The suite was clean and extremely functional, just like staying at someone's home. Love that there were two toilets, one on each floor. A bathroom with tub was also found on 2nd floor so we basically hung out on the 2nd floor after meal.
Couple things to know before you book this suite: there's a small and steep stairway. Might not be a good option for someone who's 6 feet+ with bad knees; The tatami bedroom is right above a small french restaurant, so visitors are asked to keep noise low (including foot steps) at night while in the bedroom. Not an issue for us and we truly enjoy our stay there.
Parking: there's a small paid parking lot right across the house. it was 200 or 300 yen for 20 mins, and max 700 yen for 24 hours. Pay by cash or card (via QR code)

時間通りに到着できず、30分程お待たせしたにもかかわらず、丁寧に対応していただきました。
お部屋を全て暖めて下さり感激しました。
今回は1泊でしたが連泊したいとメンバー全員が言っていました。

It was amazing. I like that it’s a quaint Japanese house. The location is amazing and you can walk to Omicho market as well as the other tourist attractions. The host was very kind and communicative

Lovely 2 floors apartment, very comfortable and spars, so nicely decorated and very well equipped. We enjoyed our stay there. The only lack is that the stairs to the upper floor are narrow and steep. The owner is nice and helpful, he offered us to send our luggage. He is always available for phone calls ( no WhatsApp). You can also reach him by mail.

Pro: Very Clean, Stylish and convenient location (walking distances)
Con: Steep stair to bedroom (may be unsuitable for certain age group); building shakes if heavy trucks pass over (woke us up)
