Great location, near the Forbidden City.

Large room, excellent location, really helpful staff who either spoke English or use a translate app. They provided us with additional water when necessary. The only negative sides were 1) the shower was a bit worn and 2) the room wasn’t heated despite being in December but it wasn’t too cold either. Would definitely come back next time I’ll be in Beijing !

Overall was great, location is right at the palace museum and all nearby sightseeing spots. However they do not have the laundry service nor do they have self-laundry unit which is a bit inconvenience.

This hotel is in an interesting location 30-40 minutes' walk away from the Forbidden City and Tian'anman Square, and 20 minutes to a subway station. It looks as if nothing has changed there since the 1980s or earlier, but it is clean, apart from the stale smell in corridors, and the room is quite comfortable with all the usual amenities and even a spin-dryer. Our 'loft' room was split between two floors, giving a useful amount of space and places to sit. It would have been good to have two card keys to the room, but the receptionist just shrugged and said there was only one. In this day and age that is unacceptable.

It’s a budget rundown place so it’s acceptable for the price. Bit far to walk to MTR. Staff is very friendly.

The place is not clean, the beds are extremely uncomfortable, the staff is not friendly at all.

Lovely staff. Great food in the area easy walking to subway and tourist sites. No breakfast at the hotel but nice local breakfast a few shops down. Slight smell of tobacco in the hallways room is very clean. Bed is on the harder side.

Budget hotel convenient to main sights. Fairly old, but price point reflects that. Has laundry machines.
