ยอดเยี่ยม The staff was very friendly and helpful - they even helped park our car. The hotel is in an excellent location. Even though it is a traditional Japanese hotel it had AC which was a huge plus.

Great experience, beautiful old building and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly located on Nakamachi-dori and close to all attractions, including Matsumoto Castle, and plenty of amazing food nearby. A memorable and unique, but all too brief stay, definitely one of the hilights of my time in Matsumoto.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. Beds were very comfortable. Would highly recommend for a traditional Japanese Inn experience.

We really enjoyed our stay in Matsumoto - the hotel was lovely and authentic. I love sleeping on a futon and really loved the aesthetic of the room and the hotel. One thing, if you're older like us, you might want to make sure you can get up and down off of the floor easily before booking.
