A beautiful and modern hotel very close to all the attractions in Matsuyama. Great service, clean and specious! 7th and 8th floor of a large shopping plaza where you will find everything you need!

My stay at Lepo Chahal was fantastic in so many ways. The location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, and easy access to and from the airport. The hotel is located in the same building as a department store, which makes it incredibly convenient. You can simply take the elevator down to enjoy shopping or try unique Japanese gourmet desserts plus kids play area on literally one level below. The staff were amazing. We checked in on my daughter’s 5th birthday, and one of the staff members (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name. She also speaks Korean) prepared a gift for her and even decorated our breakfast table with birthday flowers. It was such a thoughtful surprise and we were truly touched. We booked two different room types, a Hollywood twin and a double room, and both were very clean and spacious. Everything felt comfortable and well-designed, including the in-room sauna, bathroom, and shower area. Without a doubt, we will definitely come back to this hotel when we visit Matsuyama again.

Very well-located hotel opposite the Okaido tram station, and adjacent to covered shopping arcade full of restaurants and shops. Easy walking distance to Matsuyama castle ropeway. Room was very clean, spacious and bed very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent.

Unique property with a lovely large modern rooms and a real secret hideaway quality.

We visited Matsuyama for our anniversary, truly one of the best experiences I've had. I would simply come back to Matsuyama just to stay at Lepo Chahal. Perfect location, great atmosphere, sauna was very relaxing and staffs were very friendly and helpful.

A boutique (15 room) hotel built into the mitsukoshi department store. Service is superb. Rooms are large, bright and very tastefully appointed. You get a private sauna which has the unfortunate effect of super heating your bathroom so perhaps ask for this to be switched off in advance of tour arrival if it’s summer. The restaurant, Aino, is super and the staff hugely accommodating and attentive (they opened and prepared a full buffet just for us, which is extraordinary). Breakfast is a set menu and is very high quality. Well worth the premium.

This hotel was so lovely to stay at. Our room was gorgeous and included a private sauna that we loved. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is extremely kind, helpful, and attentive. It's just a short walk from the train station, making it a great place to stay if you'd like to sightsee in Fukuoka. We also loved our breakfast here!
