We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the Panoramic Tree House. It was such a unique space to explore and sleep in and added so much to our stay in Tahiti. The staff were so kind, friendly and helpful with local information. The Tree House is an impeccably constructed space, with modern fixtures, air conditioning and privacy hidden inside a huge mango tree. We felt very special. Our daily breakfast with local baked goods and fresh fruits was a great way to start the day. We enjoyed a daily walk into town, to explore the town and sample various restaurants. Louis and his wife are terrific hosts and we were lucky to have this opportunity on the Island!

While basic, the room was very spacious and clean for our family of four and had air conditioning. We really enjoyed the breakfast (which was delicious and plentiful) which was served on the outdoor patio. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

The staff were extremely helpful with check in storage of bags until room was ready. We arrived early. Helped with getting around town and food suggestions. Needed very early taxi to airport in morning and they arranged for us.

We had a comfortable stay here prior to catching a ferry the morning after arriving in Tahiti. The room was clean and comfortable, and the fresh fruit and pastries for breakfast were delicious.

The room and bathroom facilities were clean and the bed was comfortable, but no drinking water or tissues were provided. The continental breakfast was good, but it ends at 09.00 hrs, which strikes me as rather early for holidaymakers. No other meals are offered, so guests are obliged to go elsewhere to eat. I walked to the supermarket and bought food to eat on my lanai, but there are also food trucks about a 15-20 minute walk away. Twice during the morning of checkout a maid tried to enter my room without knocking. Fortunately I lock my doors, so she could not get it. No staff should enter any room without knocking and there is no need for cleaners to knock on guest goors before the 11.00 hrs checkout time.

Rim mate clean well organized and cheap all the required comforts when travelling. Staff are courteous helpful and offer suggestions for your traveling requirements.

Spotlessly clean, beautiful grounds, incredibly welcoming staff, and one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in many years. Thank you!

The staff were excellent and Louis, the manager, is very attentive.

Not a place I would ever stay again. Only stayed one of three nights booked. Of the two lights in the ceiling only one worked. No desk lights or table lamps. No desks or tables or chairs in the room. Very small very cramped. Very little room to hang clothing. A shower was an open area in the toilet room. No tissue to blow my nose. Very limited counter space and virtually no cupboard or closet space. I did ask the proprietor if he would consider refunding half of our payment since we only stayed one of three nights. Received no reply. This might be your go to place if you have very little belongings, have no need for the downtown area, and just want privacy and want to read a book. This would probably be a good spot. Not what we came for. Also this is not a place for people with walkers or wheelchairs. Uneven surfaces, steps to climb, no handicap accessibility. Additionally the slate stone sidewalks can be treacherous and slippery when it rains. And it rains a lot in the summer.
