When we checked in we immediately noticed a foul smell coming from the sink. We had to live with it our entire stay. A few other cons of the hotel: 1) It is marketed as a hotel but it is not a hotel. They do not provide any services the entire time you are there. No water is provided. Not even water replenish points which was a standard across all hotels during our Japan trip. Once you check in they basically leave you alone till you check out. 2) Minimum car parking spaces. Only a few were available infront of the building. The rest were up the hill. And it’s not helped by the roads closure caused by a huge construction site right beside the hotel which brings me to the next point 3) huge construction site right beside the hotel causing road closures and loud noises throughout the day. If you plan to stay in or sleep in, then you’d be better off booking somewhere else. 4) we asked to have Queen bedded rooms when we communicated with the hotel months before checking in. It was agreed on by the hotel. I even double confirmed with the hotel prior to the trip. But when we checked in we were shocked to find that all our rooms were furnished with 2 small beds. Pros: 1) quite comfortable rooms with reasonably sized bedrooms 2)large fridge 3) washing machine provided

The room was absolutely spotless and incredibly clean, making it the perfect place to chill and relax. Do note that bottled drinking water is not provided, so you'll want to bring your own water bottles for your stay. On the plus side, the front desk team was very helpful and provided great recommendations whenever needed!

The unit itself was gorgeous! Location was perfect. Literally a 2 minute walk to the main base. Nice coffee shop in the lobby offering grab and go as well. The disappointing aspect was the service. It felt like we were in an Airbnb with no service. Often times you’d pass the front desk and it’d be completely empty. Upon checking in we were not told about parking, resort area, direction, amenities etc. it felt very rushed and do it your own kind of service. They didn’t respond to emails I sent prior to the stay sling for dinner recommendations and room inquiry. The only way to connect with the staff is through WhatsApp. Not a fan of the service and feel like it shouldn’t be advertised as a hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Fenix West Furano. The hotel is modern, stylish, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything you need — a full kitchen with complete cooking tools, utensils, and even laundry facilities. It really feels like a home away from home. The staff, especially Hardy, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Furano!

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, great facilities and helpful and friendly staff. I’d definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and the bathroom was really nice. Cafe on site made amazing coffees.
