Well appointed room and lovely welcome from owners on arrival. Really good views of Russell township and the water / boats. Only thing I would say, bring some strong legs if you plan on walking - the driveway is STEEP hahaaaa. Had a very pleasant stay (5 nights).

B&B style accommodation with lovely views over Russell and Kororareka Bay. The rooms are comfortable and exceptionally clean, with a small kitchen and fridge. Welcoming owners who provided a good list of things to do, places to eat and visit during our stay. The complex has a BBQ and spa area and washing facilities (at additional cost). The balcony is great to sit for a morning coffee or an afternoon wine to take in the views. The place is located within an quick walk to Russell central, Foreshore and Long Beach. The driveway is very steep drive and walk up, and parking not suitable for larger vehicles. Overall a great option stay for couples visiting Russell.

Staff was very welcoming. View from the balcony was fantastic! Close walk in to town and the beach as well.

Good location.

Bellrock Lodge is a great base for a visit to Russell and the Bay of Islands. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a balcony and a great view over the town and bay. It's a B&B, so no amenities on the property other than a paid use laundry room. It's only a 10-minute walk into town, but there's a short steep uphill section on the way back which might be difficult for older or mobility-challenged guests.

Wonderful facilities, great room, huge bathroom. Immaculately clean. Brilliant deck with seating and great views. One of the very best.

This spacious, clean, modern accommodation was close to restaurants, cafes and ferries. We enjoyed making use of the DVD library and hot tub. The driveway is very steep if you're walking but we had a lovely view because of the raised position. The floorboards overhead are a little creaky but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Clean, quiet setting close to shops, beach and wharf. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hosts. Love the coffee pods, the quality crockery and cutlery, bathrobes and live the view from the room and balcony.
