So noisy and the front desk staff is rude. There was (is) a smoking bench right outside our window on the bottom floor front corner room where people partied and fought all night every night and not only did the staff not do anything about it, they did not discount our stay or explain a second miscellaneous charge to my credit card that wasn’t included on my invoice! It was near impossible to speak to management and then it was only through email to which they offered one reply and then never responded again. Stay anywhere else but here.

What a lovely place! This hotel oozes charm inside and out. We were delighted by the ambience and style. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, calling us cabs over and over and providing prompt action when we reported a toilet issue. Our room was neat and tidy with a comfortable bed and pillows, and excellent bathroom linens. Before booking, we were concerned about other reviews which mentioned cleanliness issues. While we found out room neat, we did notice a fine grit on some furniture (eg the dresser below the TV), and on the floor especially near the baseboards. Maybe grit from the mortar on the brick walls?? A good vacuuming seems in order. At check in we were told there was housekeeping service every other day but to ask at any time if we needed anything. We were there from Sat-Wed and never had housekeeping come. That was fine with us as we didn’t really need anything, but it wasn’t what we were told. We are seniors and took cabs to most places, but for those who enjoying walking, the location is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. The restaurant and morning coffee/breakfast bar are excellent. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property. Easy parking. Spacious rooms but noisy. The hotel has all historic wood floors which is pretty but very noisy. Unfortunately the amount of noise was too much for us to go again.

Room is cool aesthetically but dark with the only window facing a wall corridor. Really my only issue is if you had someone above you good luck. We had a spasmatic elephant above us who got in each night around 12:30 then would stomp around for 2 hours and keep us up so we got no sleep. Hotel is centrally located which is nice as it’s walkable to everywhere. They do charge a ridiculous amenities fee that is $20 per night that gets you a bottle of water upon check in and a sad gym. Parking is $39 per night which is not included in the “resort fee”.

First time staying here. Was a very nice property. The staff was very friendly. The rooms nice and historic. Comfortable beds. Nice bar.

Staff was friendly and professional. Great atmosphere. Will definitely stay here again.
