Do not book this room, it is in a 3rd floor that through a tight stair case. If you have luggage you have to carry it all up. The water and electricity did not work until someone showed up after 30 minutes. Check in is really weird with WhatsApp conversation and key safes to unlock. Remember you have to carry all your luggage up and down a 3rd floor, and I am not talking about a regular third floor. You can consider a 5th floor in a normal building. Doors are flimsy and you can everything going on. The bed felt terrible, there were 2 towels for hands but no towels for showers. No AC or heating, lucky it was 65 degrees out so we were ok. Do not book unless you are a backpacker with just a back pack and don’t care about quality at all. We booked this place only because it was close to the bus station because we just needed one night to catch the bus to the airport to fly out. Would not recommend at all.

The only positive about this accommodation is the location. As a solo female traveller, I would not recommend to other solo females. I arrived quite late at night and didn't feel particularly safe entering the building, or finding my way to which flat was allocated to me. I was on the third floor so it was a few flights of stairs through various doors (that slam loudly). On arrival, my shower wasn't working and I had to message the host first thing the next day. It was sorted immediately but not great to arrive to after a long day of travelling. The bed is the worst I've ever slept on - borderline unusable. When you sit on it, you're essentially sitting on the bed frame underneath, and the pillows were barely worth having. The furniture and overall condition of the room was old, worn and marked. There is also an additional £25 cleaning fee charged before check-in, which brings the total cost close to that of a basic hotel nearby. While the price and location may seem appealing, I would recommend spending a bit more for somewhere more comfortable.

There was nothing unique about the room. Loved the area it’s situated in and very convenient to Liverpool St station.

I stayed here recently and overall thought it was a good value for the price. The space had everything I needed for a short stay, and the location was convenient. That said, there are a few areas that could be improved to make it even better. The place could have been a little cleaner, and it would be nice to have a small desk or table for working or eating. The mattress, pillows, and bed could also use a refresh to make it more comfortable. All in all, it worked well for the budget, but with a few updates it could be a really great stay.

The room was shabby.3 flights of stairs was in terrible shape and dangerous. Very noisy if window left open

For the price I think you pay for what you get. It’s located in a prime area. Basic room and en-suite but for the price I London I would 100% book again.

Really bad cooling. Toilet door is almost see through. We couldn’t sleep at night due to hot temperature in the room. It didn’t help even when we opened the window. There is only in table fan but it’s not enough for three people. The host didn’t reply to the messages when we informed him about the issues we had. I will never recommend this property to anyone.

Wonderful location... Stone's throw from petticoat and brick Lane. A number of flights of stairs up to the room so pack light! Loved the location

Cheap and basic, as advertised. Quite a lot of traffic noise It was fine, but the mandatory cleaning charge was a bit of a surprise, as was the resident mouse
