Great location near the bus line. 10 mins from the city center

Everthing just right

The bathroom had a smell

Room was clean apart from a dirty cup and spoon. Tried to charge us £10 an hour for an early check in (we were 2 hours early so £20) but the lovely lady in the bar and an exceptional lady called Sue managed to get us in as we needed to get changed for a funeral.

There was only two staff on reception and the queue to check in was out the front door - perhaps during the times 5 -7pm when it looked like a lot of business/contractors were arriving would be a good time to get the assistance of another member - the lady on the rewards desk didn't appear to have much to do..! When we eventually got into our room (room 253) the aircon didn't work although we tried several options to try to get it to work.. I rang reception several times and no one picked up - this would be considered irresponsible if it had been a medical emergency!! In the end my friend went to reception and they said they couldn't answer the phone as they were "too busy"!!! Not the response you would expect. Akash then came to the room and when he looked at the aircon said "you haven't turned it on", now we might be of an age but we are not stupid and when we said what we had done and why we resorted to coming to reception he apologised and said he could get maintenance to look at it or change our rooms, we opted for the latter! it took him about 1/2 hour to come back to us and we then went and collected our new key for room 119 which was fine. He also presented us with complimentary drinks voucher for 2. The dinner was excellent but the bar staff were erratic and at most only one person to serve everyone. As there were many people watching the football surely extra staff should have been drafted in??? Overall an ok experience.

Great and the buses into oxford every 10 mins was great

Good location for Blenheim Palace. Clean spacious rooms. Disappointed to pay for parking

Does all the basics really well

Tv did not work in room, water pressure was so low it was impossible to run a bath and toilet flush took several attempts. Info left with desk staff on check out who promised manager would ring us. No call received.

Everything was excellent. Food, service staff room cleanliness. Best Holiday Inn ever!
